I do. Not only i care about 30Hz, but 20Hz as well. That's what two 15" woofers per side are for.
I do design my speakers as flat as possible from 20Hz to 20kHz, and use 31 band ultracurve to treat room to flat in listening position.
I have heard your system few times at hifi shows. Not my cup of tea, it ain't hifi. Bonzai is no real woods, no matter how pretty it can look to you. Low end is needed for realism. At least to me. It has to be done right, not overbloated boomy bass, but clean, flat and precise.
And i am no missing any fine details and emotions of the music...

I had a small full range driver in use for voices as the centre speaker in my home theatre system for awhile. I think it produced the clearest voices I’ve heard..
It was hopeless for rock and pop so I gave up on small full range. I use big speakers for most everything now.
In my home theatre I have large Vitavox corner horns set up to give a phantom centre but the comments in this thread may trigger me to try a small full range centre speaker for voice again.
I also have one of those smaller 5” Lowther drivers to experiment with, for when I don’t want rock and pop.

Yes, you are 100% correct. I am not offering a HIFI amp, but an emotion speaker system with low output SET amp..
As I mentioned, this type of system is not for everyone. I do not need ear plugs to demo the system for you (a lot of exhibitors will use ear plugs in the show).
You can have great voices, and low fr extension. These are not mutualy exclusive.

With enough persistance, those plexi horns could probably be made co-axial with a woofer or a ring of woofers. Maybe using a donut shaped cavity behind the horn without disrupting the dipole midrange?

I thought OB was a fun experiment but I ultimately didn't care for it. I think that's the hardest part of this hobby, it's hard to know if you'll like something without hearing it and that usually costs time and money.
It depends on the type of music you want to listen. If you want vocal, jazz, instruments and chamber music, it is the best..
As I said OB is not for everyone. We care about the airy music. We care about the music can touch our inner heart to engage with the singer. We do not care 20~30HZ..

yup. and I've heard boxed speakers that had spooky, emotion provoking vocal reproduction that made it appear the singer was in the room and I've heard OB speakers that didn't. Can't attest to one design type being far superior to another. Glad you found your nirvana. Enjoy.
I attempted a midrange OB once, but decided the tone was too far gone to be readily blended in a 3-way system. The idea of a dipole mid-range seemed super appealing, but it was back to the drawing board once I actually heard it.
