Rectumfying?

what a coincidence ......... while driving for last hour, I was contemplating about using tube rectifiers in something sand-low-voltage ......... old Fetish

Tubes are good, Tubes are fun, and I'm primary Toobhead, sorta forced in world of multilegged fuses

but, even I can recognize that majority of toobz in constructions of last 3 decades are simply wasted on Drek

go figure

all in all, majority of (in fact small) industry is Drek

What speakers are yo driving now Mr. Mod?

I, as prolly mentioned b4, had a devestating problem with tqwt and rear wall reflection nulling. Now I have turned the whole apartment around and the main spks do pretty good down to 40, good enough for most feedz. The usual 120 180 ish floor ceiling nulls are still there but workable.

As for now I got a little tired of working the livingroom and soldering on the kitchen table so I turned back to the ever going project of a lab bench in my study.

Why cant I write short answers, now I need to order a new beer and I have a mancold the size of a galapagos turtle

Anyways, where was I?

So, yes, I have built an answer to the speakers behaviour as an active filter. Passive sux. It worx great, crossing at 1k and sub adding does not cause nullifications etc in present placement but still I will as next step do a 2x3 way filter.

After that, long sought after, decent amps for the tqwts. 2x2 10-15 wattish should exceed all expectations.
