Gyuri, I hope you will be fine. Sometimes the high blood pressure can cause ringing in the ears, but then there is more than one cause for a high blood pressure...
Otherwise it can happen if you get an infection of an inner (or maybe middle) ear. Can happen if (dirty) water goes too far in the ear. Antibiotics may help, but, if advanced, ear surgery is needed, and is quite horrible. My son had to do it, I watched the procedure on Youtube and was horrified. They cut and drill behind your ear and suck the nastiness. However, if not done, it could be dangerous since it can infect the brain. Hope I am wrong. Let us know.
Regards,

Hi Vix,
Thank you for your kindness.
The situation is not so serious.
Because of my work I have seen audiograms thousands of people'.
I must have to say, about 85% about them would be happy with a hearing like mine.
Yet this is a tragedy for me.
My little world where I can relax and find joy of creation has ruined seriously.
Just like House of Cards.
But I don't give up, my hearing will be restored, I think it needs several months.
That echoing right ear really drives me to be mad.
Anyway it is quite interesting, it can echoing in it's own way.
Earlier I've thought, my hearing is echoing right ear vs. left ear.
No, it seems to me, my right ear perceive two consecutive sound lines, with a delta-time about 100msec.
Moreover, if I listen to it with covered left ear, my right ear changes one of the two delayed sound line, as it has change its frequency.
Quite interesting, isn't it?

I forget to say, my hearing better now with about 10-15dB.
I must have to control my stress induced high blood pressure.
I've done the necessary steps.
After that stress factors have to be eliminated.
I have not yet decided, poison or bullet? 😉

Gyuri,
Good to know that the condition is better now. Wish you further progress and recovery at the earliest. Stay strong!

Have some tinnitus also (at evenings/night)... may be easing up now with some dental care and neck muscle relaxation/fysiotherapie - we'll see.
The doctor sent me first to a hearing test. Here is my graph. The specialist who held the test said that results can change even day to day depending on ones situation (stress etc), but everything above 20-15db is normal. My midrange hearing is good, the left ear dip at about 7K is on the border line... (age 54)
But the actual question that this brings me to, is that our hearing (loss) could easily be a factor in what speakers we like. The frequency response of amps etc. are neat enough not to affect frequency response -wise, but speakers are bit different. Maybe one likes a certain speaker (at least partly) because it compliments ones hearing loss?
Or even to take this a bit further, maybe reviewers should publish their hearing graph before their reviews can be taken seriously?
Or should we start designing (active) speakers that, besides taking the room acoustics in count, also takes ones hearing in count? 😉

Gyuri,
If you hang upside down does your blood pressure go down??? 🙂
I've attached a photo of the latest hearing technology for your consideration.
In all seriousness, I hope you a very speedy recovery. Sounds like you are on the right track. Stick with it. Hang in there buddy!
Kind regards,
Steve

Thanks Steve,
You know, I thought I would hang myself in the normal way, it would be a final solution for my problems. 😉
But a train is a better, safer and quicker solution, as my son proved it.
Well, it was a little bit morbid, just as that expression, "you are on a right track".
(in Hungarian: "sínen vagy", Hungarian language can be concise. 🙂 )
Sin – Wikipedia)
But you did not know that.
Anyway, it would be my very last thought to throw away my life.
I never-ever will doing that.
Life is good.
I have the most exceptional daughter, who has needs me.
There are cats, they are needs me, as well.
I have a wife also, who needs me, perhaps she don't know this.
I have plenty of books to read and re-read.
I have many plans to carry out.
Thanks for all of you very much for thinking to me!
I feel the positive energy which is flowing towards to me.
I think my hearing improved again a little.
I can listen to music without crying, it is quite good.
Tomorrow will be a hearing test again, result will be better than last time, I surely know it.
My best wishes for all of you:
Wacky Gyuri

My wife seems to have a different view on this! 😀Jugi, you have a hearing like an owl has!
Take care Gyuri! Hope things will work better for you. I'll even put in a payer for you. 🙂
If you accept a good advice from me, you do not show this paper to your wife!
Thanks all of the prayers, I know my hearing will return!

Hello Chaps. It's been awhile so I thought that I would check in and say hi.
I 1st studied electronics quite awhile ago - back in the mid 1960's - and started out on vacuum tube circuits. Over the years I grew up with the advances being made along the way. The next adventures were with transistor circuits and then followed basic digital circuits. After that the 1st microprocessors came along (8 bit running at a blazing 2kHz) and those of course led up to the bigger 32 and 64 bit micro's that we have today.
Also there have been many advances made in analog circuits - a lot of them in use in today's audio circuits that we all love to play around with.
Thus from time ti time I find it useful to go back and refresh myself on the basics of things. Being limited to my well known two functional brain cells a refresh of study of the old circuits can often be beneficial and enlightening.
The linked video will serve to prove several points.

Have fun out there and BE CAREFULL!!!! 😀😀😀

Gyuri, one useful hint, to take advantage of your temporary deafness: when your wife wants you do do some homework, you can just pretend that you had that ringing in your ear and did not understand what she said... 😀
I've always told I did not understand her when my ear was still good. 🙂
My hearing has improved anyway, only that damned echoing,,,
But I know, it needs patience a big lot.
Bought some miraculum, like Béres-csepp, Gingko Biloba and so on.
I believe they will help.
But, of course, I bought some bottles of beer if the miracles did not help. 😉
