The Pass Pub: The High-End Off Topic Thread

I built up an analog sound system that I have already listening with joy, and now, by the mercy of the Lord, I can listen to it with the latest digital hearing aid.
What would my very best friend Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche say about this thing?

"It is quite ironical, and very funny indeed."

While I drinking my last beer, (hopefully only for this day) thinking, maybe this is a sign, (never ignore the signs as I did.) the most important, it is what you listen to.
(At the moment Arvo Pärt - Adam's Lament)
This is an irrelevant question, what kind of equipment do you do.

What is really matter, this is the music.

I was working in a big computer room when I was young.
There was no noise protection at all.
Big and noisy air-conditioners, on my right side there were two line-printers.
Those noise dips at 4kHz on my both ears are the legacy of this period.
But now I'm completely frustrated because of this sudden hearing loss.
