Red wine hangover and empty vinyl envelopes everywhere. What a flashback! Anyway I tested, what’s the english name, coasters? For the platter. Original rubber, felt, cork and acrylic. Cork and acrylic sounded best to my ears. The winner is acrylic, way less static than cork.

I remember back in the days that there were electrically conductive mats, I think super thin copper wire woven in the mat, making the vinyl grounded through the platter. Was that a bad idea that disappeared or is it still?
I ordered another air-moisturizer. 25-30% inside with one small going 24/7. Even my nostrils gets static. Probably would need 10 more but then I won’t do much else than pooring water in them

Strange question: I really would like to hear a Soekris DAC compared to a DDDAC1794 4deck (which I have).
