I've been working from home since mid-March, and am starting to get a little stir-crazy. Lab work is not really an option, so I've been spending a lot of time generating presentations to bring newbie workmates up to speed on various topics of SMPS design. I've also spent more time fielding questions on my company's public forum.
Cali has extended shelter-at-home until the end of this month, so I have a ways to go until I can get back to work as usual. There'll probably be some sort of mask and social distancing stuff going on when I do get back.
At home I've been honing my Indian cooking skills, and preparing for some radio special features I'm laying out during the course of this month and into early June. Mostly techno special features, though I'm doing one on jazz pianist/vibraphonist Karl Berger.

Because I work outside for the most part I am able to continue pretty much as usual. When it comes to the office side of this, I am working from home so all in all it hasn't affected me nearly as much as so many others.
Been much rain over there Cal? If not you will be real busy when it comes and people notice that the leaks need urgent attention.

The rain is as per norm. Like where you are, we appreciate the sun whenever it happens by. 🙂
I should probably tell you, my side of things is the commercial, industrial and institutional part of roofing so many of our re-roofing projects come along because the roofs have met their 'best before date' and the corporations, governing bodies or owners are not in a position to allow a leak in the first place. Proactive evaluation is a big part of what I do.
Happy to say that this is shaping up to be a good year even with the viral interference. I am glad, because without any pension other than the national one, I spent more than one night staring at the ceiling wondering what to do with my portfolio. Every day, I saw a weeks worth of money disappear. Now I am happy to say, I stayed the course and things are rebounding. I hope the same for you.
