Do you really think we are alone in the Universe?
I don't.
I wouldn't say they was here.
But anthropocentric point of views are failed so much times.
There are more stars in the sky than all the sand grains on Earth's coasts.
One of my favourite quotes from Laurie Anderson's songs Kokoku:

"And on a very distant star, slimy creatures scan the skies.
They've got plates for hands. And telescopes for eyes
And they say:
Look! Down there! A haunted planet spinning 'round
They say:
Watch it move. Watch it shake. Watch it turn
(...私の叫び、私の声を、目を閉じ、目を閉じ)
And shake"

But what if we are really alone?
Then can't be anything else more important than save every life on Earth.
This is my New Year (and everyday) Message.

Gyuri, I agree we are not the only intelligent beings nor the most intelligent beings in the universe.

I'm glad we haven't discovered the other planets harboring said life. Humans would undoubtedly feel threatened by it and probably kill it.

Happy New Year to my diyaudio friends!
