Intelligibility really needs fixing on these big shows....I know how to do it, I just need to demo to the right sound guys.

Thanks for this great song and arrangement. The vocals are clear and strong. The bass is tight.
I also have a few Lencos....must finish that re-build with 22.5mm fine carbon mat!! 🙂 It was also my first ever proper TT, with an Armstrong (tube) receiver, 800 cartridge and Goodmans three unit (15" bass!!!) in 42" home made reflex cabs!!! Then got a Radford stereo 15 + pre-amp, SME, SPUG/TE. All one could wish for then and pretty good today for listening.....but I suspect that many here don't do much of that! 
.Thanks for the Garrard rebuild info, pictures can say a thousand words. The one I have would benefit from a rebuild, it sits in this plinth(kitchen work top!).
