I wasn't very impressed with the original Shanling player, again it looked nice but my Modded Arcam trounced it for sound quality
Yes Leon, and one more thing: people that listened to it say that the sound was better through the SS output (OPA2604) than through the tube output.

Well it got trounced using both SS and tube output.
After the guy in the shop laughed at the sight of my old Arcam the smirk was soon wiped off his face when he heard it

I also prefer the classic looks of an LP12 than a Michell or a Clearaudo.
