Earlier on i gave some responses which i thought might be helpful.
I am comfortable that TG knows a whole lot more than i will ever about this subject and i would follow his advice on any performance related matters, there is a mine of it on his website.
On aesthetics, not performance related,

when i built my Fusion speakers I wanted curves on the grille edge and achieved this as shown in the pic.

You managed to transform a loudspeaker whose design left much to be desired into a beautiful loudspeaker.

You're very kind! - i wish you success whatever your project, and will watch with interest. - just thinking, the double skin gives the opportunity to shape the grille edge to suit personal taste, probably the same on TG
