I can imagine there are some serious pangs of jealousy upon seeing that.
Lovely is all I can say.
I'm not enough competent or intelligent to make this kind of installation usefull for anything else, but i try to perform a tad of humor... that is a sort sympatic remark without any other objective.
jelly! im still having debates with the wife to let me have one bedroom to myself for a lab, sigh....
Ya Michael, show us a pic a few months from now. The reality might be striking.

I would like to have have a bin labeled "unobtanium". Ha. My bin would be very empty looking. Great looking space!
I really, really, really wish I was your diy apprentice/helper right now! Enjoy the new lab, looks amazing!!

Lovely lab! Very jealous.
Is it better to have the test gear stored on the rack and just move what you want to the bench as you need it, vs. having all the test gear above the bench powered up and ready to go? I mean for the AP's, you'd need mice, keyboards, monitors etc. The PSUs, scopes I can understand. Do you have special test gear deeper shelves that slot into the timber strips behind the lab bench?

How do you sort / organize all the little components ? (resistors, cap, diodes, transistors ...). I'm curious because I have to organize again my own little place🙂
