Looks serious. I'm not sure the scope belongs there, but it definitely needs the SIT-5s!
(Have you looked into Ben Mah's SIT-5 reverse engineering/recreation project, or the SIT with choke? Of course you still need the SIT-5 as reference...)

Seville Classics 🙂I’m digging the French cleats shelves and the adjustable tables. Where did you find those tables?
They’re right up there with my much loved JBL 4343’s in terms of audio bliss. 🙂
I have the PAP-C1 as well but haven’t bi-amped yet - need a a quick tutorial from Nelson.

There’s no going back…I’ve had the B5 for several years now and it is a dream…and an enabler in this hobby…it just makes things so easy.I have the PAP-C1 as well but haven’t bi-amped yet - need a a quick tutorial from Nelson.
You should be hearing from Nelson any moment now... 🙂Now that I have all these references, I’ll have to start my own amp business…or become a reviewer if I hope to justify this illness![]()
Thicker rear panels thicker than side panels? DIY or from? How did you determine qty and placement? Thx!
Those speakers.... I think I had a conversation about them... WAF23?
Get rid of the ottoman....
Beautiful set up. How soon before the LPs pile up on the left wall?
;-D

( the cartoon not the other Dexter. )
Nice setup!.
A Kenwood KA-5500.... 55 wpc, pretty good power supply. Heavy little suckers.
I got the KA-3500, fully rebuilt, used the output transistors from a KR-4070 that we parted out. And the matching KT5300. When I bought it, in 1976, I wanted the KA-5300 but couldn't afford it then... power wise I think they are the same, just the meters.
And the handles...
The 5500 is great amp, even today. It's matching tuner is the KT-5500.
Whatever you do, PLEASE do not put LEDs in the meters... keep it all stock. They look and sound very good.
Did you know the handles in the KR-4070 fit the KT-9900? Kenwood made two sizes of handles. Your amp, and mine, are considered the small ones.
The KT-9900 and its matching unit, the KA-9800 are simply awesome looking, except that the cost of the KA-9800 is likely too much nowadays. I got a great deal on the KT-9900 from a tuner collector guy in San Diego. It has THREE meters.... yep... you can't have too many meters on your tuner, eh?
The KA-8300 and KT-8300 are the US spec equivalents... lots more available.
IMHO, all such are better sounding units than the Marantz and Pioneers of the day.
