Yes, I think I have seen most on dipole and open baffle. I have tried flat small baffle, flat wide baffle, u baffle, slot loaded and ripole (all with the same Gladen woofer). Flat wide baffle I like most because you can go quite high in frequency, but it's too big. I don't hear much difference between u baffle and ripole or slot loaded
That's interesting thanks, I have U-frame woofers. Have you decided to go cardioid like for placement reasons?
Did you cut the grooves in the MDF yourself? On a side note, I'm intrigued by the upsidedown radiator....🙂
No, I have bought it this way. You could do it yourself, but it would take forever.
The radiator is standard in DK. You can see it other ways though

It's alive. I have just made a quick test used as subwoofer below 50 hz. It's promising even with just one. No measurements yet, but be patient. They will come.
First raw no filter - at very deep tone the cabinet shakes, so need to be heavier
Second a 12 dB boost cut around 50 Hz linkwitz riley 24 dB and added another filter for even steeper cut
Measurement distance = 1 meter

It's great but have one big flaw - delay is only for live delay speakers. Shortest possible delay is about 25 cm
What is the lowest step (in ms) you are able to achieve? I can adjust mine in 0.023 ms steps - which is around 8 mm if I am correct. The trick is to use keyboard arrows up/down or left/right instead of a mouse.
Mine do not remember the settings if I load them from a saved preset after power off. It remembers only the settings in the default preset - maybe you know a trick for that?

You might want to fill the slots with some hard glue to firm up the barrels. The speakers look good.
Pelanj. Thanks, that saved me a few buck. I did talk to thomann and they said no short delay is possible. I did try to type in figures also, but that was not possible, but the trick with arrow up/down works like a charm

You are right and I do plan to glue some resonance shhet inside, but I don't think it is enough. It's not a big deal to cut out two rings of mdf
Well, still working on these. The bendable boards are really bad quality, so need to do some mods to be able to make the finish.
