Sorry for the delay 🙂 - yes I think the quality is good, have bought 4 so far and no problems. And yes it seems to be a clone of the more expensive Dynaudio. I have read some comments on various forums that while Dynaudio is good, they are overpriced. I think these should be crossed to a sub at a steeper slope than the 12 dB I used though, as the xmax is a bit limited.

I see a chance to finetune the nearfield FR using a shaped BASOTECT foam (white or gray/Melamin , airspace grade foam) block very close to the dome!

Btw - the info about the Ciare HM500 is not correct , it has a NOMEX carrier for the v.c. and a long wide winding of the coil! There is also a shielded HM600 version seems to be for automotive usage ... the only thing I miss is a 30mm pole vent like they have done in the olden times 🙂
In your chart you wrote CERAMIC for the Ciare dome midrange ... must be a glitch in your matrix 🙂
Better look at the dome what do you see? Ciare has NEVER EVER offered a ceramic dome! (even not a fake one)
