I'm planning to build one, thought of asking this before ordering the boards. 🙂
What's the reason for not having speaker protection ? Even on the prosecution version ?
The amp don't need it or its a gamble ?

Re packaging of My F6
Most of the discussion with regard to F6s seem to be here now. Hopefully not offending anyone I wanted to show the packaging I created for my F6 (Funny boards by buzzforb, Onetics transformers and SS R100s) - will obviously work with any F6 variation
I did this primarily to create something I can lift 😀
The power supply sits in one box (+/- 24V)
The amps sit in the satellites.
I am also creating satellites for a Funny IRF240 version and also a F6 built with IRF 150s. Until I decide which suits be best 1PSU and experiment with the satellites.
I also plan to build a +/- 28V box for VFET2 experiments
Best

... the thread is very long therefore following questions:
1) what is the last schematic (if possible with the power supply)?
2) what is the last PCB layout?
3) what are the requirements for the heatsinks?
In my opinion, the size and the cost could be reduced!
One PCB for both channel:
- mounted verticaly on the heatsink
- mosfets needs to be placed under the PCB
- needs PCB drillings for the screwing of the mosfets on the heatsinks
See my attachment concerning the building of a stereo Jean Hiraga "Némésis compensé"
If desired, I will redesign the PCB???

1) Go to Firstwatt website and download F6 pdf from articles section.
2)you can buy it in diyaudio store
3)get a deluxe 5u case from the diyaudio store

Congratulations interesting amplifier diy i like your style 😀

Thanks
It started with my inability to lift what I built😱

you need some air flow through chassis , or it will become too hot inside
what type of Mosfet can I use for Q1 and Q2? Semisouth, IR, others?
Noise filtering caps over the zener diode?
Noise filtering caps over the zener diode?
... here the first draft...
What for mosfet should I use?
outputs- usual IRFP candidates , Laterals , Semisouths .
no need for cap across zeners , you have caps from gates to where it's needed

Thanks ZM - will incorporate 😎
@jps1964 How are you going from eagle to the 3d model? I've been trying to figure this out for a while and haven't had any luck..
You can find a tutorial clicking following link...
https://eagleup.wordpress.com/
For the 3D models:
- account by 3Dcontentcentral or Grabcad
- the software FreeCAD to convert STEP to STL
- the software Blender to convert STL to COLLADA
- import COLLADA into SKETCHUP
- save the component with the package name in EAGLE
It is free!
