To bad the beatiful XEN logo will be appreciated only by the wall😉The case is special version for his own use (wall hanging, volume control, etc.)
After almost one year's delay, I finally had time to work on my own version last night.
The TCS has been integrated and tested.
As expected it has more current driving capability, which also means a low impedance load for perfect stability (22R).
Alternatively a Zobel of 22R 3.3n will give a bandwidth of way over 2MHz.
The 100kHz square wave response has a small spike at the rising edge, but this comes from my functions generator rather than the DAO.
Both the HAGS and the Cross Feed have been tested before.
But before final integration, I want to build 4x Didden Regulator for the two first.
This way, they are much better isolated from the current draw of the DAO.
Will take some time though. Busy month ahead in December.

Nice work Patrick! The split PSU idea is good, I imagine it might help a little with low impedance phones. I hope this project comes to fruition in 2015.

Intend to finish in a couple of months.
But also want to build properly rather than to rush.

When the weather is warm again. 🙂
Actually still contemplating a High Power version for HE-6 and LCD-X, and the like ....
Up to 1A class A output current.

Well, I do have to sleep a little sometimes...
Actually everything was tested (including those tinny Didden Super Regs) and I was planned to finish this week.
BUT my silver epoxy dried up and I do want to glue the FETs to sinks for thermal tracking.
And next week I am on the road again .....
Ah well, better not rush.

Later when finished.
PCB and matched FETs most likely.
Mechanical parts doubtful (Mark too busy to breath).

Please don't start queuing ......yet.
Give me time to finish it properly.
Good things should not be rushed. 😉
