C'mon Papa, that is not fair. Those speakers just could not sound as good as they did. I absolutely knew it. Here it is for everyone to see... There was a guy singing all the time behind the speaker. Yea right... open baffle... class A... SIT... just one guy working very hard, he must lost his voice at the end of the day...

I think that the guy behind the Slot Loaded OB was just making sure that there no lady (with a magic voice) behind them 🙂, he found just a just a passive crossover instead 😀

I think ZM is just taking a break to reflect and savor the moment. Travel to USA (on plane with spare parts hanging off its wing), body search by TSA agent, all of the fantastic things at BAF, meeting soooooo many big brains of audio world, and of course "the kiss"........ 😀😀😀

You are actually pretty close... What you are seeing is Nelson answering my noob questions as I get my head around building an Aleph J with power Jfets. Which he just gave me, and are actually in my hand in that photo!
Perhaps you can bring it to next years show - and maybe Papa will autograph it somewhere on the Jfets........... 😎
Errrrrr - I hate to ask this - but how much do you know about Electro Static Discharge (ESD) and MOS devices????

It belong to fellow member Dtut. We share the same table during BAF. Actually this turntable sounds better then I expected. It was built from a Pioneer turntable. I believe Dtut can offer more information about this turntable.

That's berndt's speaker. The guy who made the copper platter DIY turntable and was a great volunteer organizer..
TAD woofer, Beyma horn driver and a waveguide. Not made by him but by some DIYer I believe
