Well the turntable was a Transcriptors and is still looking modern considering it's 40 years old. The plexiglass turns me off.
Yeah, but he took the tubes out of the amp first. Unless you are referring to the destruction of the Madonna. Lucky for Coppola that was a Christian religious symbol and not Muslim.

I just picked up a used copy of Tetro and it is in the queue.
I loved the stuff Vinnie Gallo wrote for Sound Practices.
Me too, I like the guy but...Buffalo's soundtrack sounds great but the movie...errr...
Tetro reminded me of an Almodovar movie but worse, much worse. Nothing wrong with Gallo but Coppola is aging badly.

I disliked Buffalo 66 because of its silly dialogues, liked The Brown Bunny because it doesn't have dialogue (well, almost).
Gallo is a good actor and a very bad scriptwriter.

I thought that the dialogue in Buffalo 66 was suited to the absurdity of the whole situation. I have not seen The Brown Bunny. I'll add that to my list.

Almodovar best soap operas are OK. BTW, Tetro has that "culebrón" vibe but the way it's shot has nothing to do with Almodovar.
Oh, yes. Palookaville was a terrifically funny film and in no small part due to his acting.

Time flies... I have seen some good movies but Sam Peckinpah's 'Straw Dogs' and 'Cross of Iron' were the best. Watching 'Straw Dogs' was a painful experience, I only enjoyed the last part but a great movie nevertheless.
