A sort of.But what they write is basically an advertisement.
If anyone would like to go back and read the OP, this thread is about subjective listening impressions. Anyone who finds that distressing is always free to participate in any of the more 'Steady-State FFT' measurement oriented threads, in which measurements are, by the way, often rather subjectively interpreted, and subject to human opinion.

Are you testing the listeners or some other objects? If they want to be blind tested and or moderated, that can be arranged too. I would just add this the first time anyone has accepted an invitation. I don't know how some critics expect me to recruit skilled listeners to come here to be tested. Having anyone come at all is rare to say the least.
And, for what?
Hypotesis?

In an environment that is presented as one hosted by a supernatural being, I guess some may feel it is them that is being tested? perhaps that s why you struggle to get many participants?
Side note: the ML panels and your headphone rig as read, should be good draw cards though. I have no doubt the sound is impressive.
...should be good draw cards though...
Speakers were the reason for the last visit IMHO. The group took a long driving detour to get here, only to listen for about an hour. That was enough time to hear what they were interested in hearing, then they had to drive back down to the Bay Area in order to return the car on time.
The title of this thread "The battle of the DACs, comparison of sound quality between some DACs" or the opening post don't mention that this is about subjective listening impressions. Where did you pick that up from?If anyone would like to go back and read the OP, this thread is about subjective listening impressions.
You already do, yourself.if I had test subjects,
Those are not his and they are placed in a room with poor acoustics.the ML panels
Someone's subjective opinion?
Those ML panels are not yours and the room acoustics issue was already brought up which you ran away from ignored.
More troll bait thinly veiled as subjective opinion? Why wasn't this guy banned a long time ago for skirting around the rules?

And what data corresponds to what goes on in my head when listening ?The beef I have with many of markw4's posts about DACs is that they are unsubstantiated. We need POVs and opinions, but opinions should not be presented as facts, unless they are supported by data. In which case whey are no longer opinions, but facts.
Is that (in the link) Jam's listening room? Some people know nothing about ESL panel placement, dispersion patterns, and appropriate room treatments.
Luck ? Innate genius ?Only thing controversial about the recent discussion is that we are led to believe without any concrete evidence that a person not capable of making measurements or even half-decent layouts has created an almost world-class audio device.
Just a fairy tale, as almost always in a consumer audio. No more wasting time here, for me.Luck ? Innate genius ?
Last I checked, Andrea Mori has been banned so there is no way to reach him.

Why are You still not banned?Last I checked, Andrea Mori has been banned so there is no way to reach him.
