Have you ever heard Tomorrow, a 60's psychedelic band with Keith West and Steve Howe in it. If you like late 60's psychedelia, you'll love it.

I think that Howe is, or at least has been, one of the most versatile guitarists in rock history till today, if not the most versatile at all. His roots clearly based on Chet Atkins and the like, he was capable to play many different styles just by the push of a button.
Btw, his three minute solo in the studio recording of America (first published in 1973 on the New Age of Atlantic album) is a belter!

Just wondered if you missed them. I was a massive Yes fan in my youth, and also loved psychedelia (which was arguably the predecessor of prog), but never discovered Tomorrow until fairly recently, about 15 years ago.
