That seems to be correct about Kauffman. There is no shortage of reports about Gram's death, and most of them do state that he died of a drug over dose. The exact drug varies. Morphine and heroin are the most mentioned. I notice the Wiki article doesn't even mention the motorcycle wreck. Depending on which story you happen to be reading, he developed a taste for morphine while in the hospital after the wreck. Others say he picked up the heroin habit from running with the Stones. I got my information originally from a web site that seems to no longer be there. I took my quotes from these two.

Perhaps I simply choose to believe the seizure story because I lost a son that way, three years after a head trauma. We received a coroner's report with the autopsy details, the funeral home received one saying no autopsy was preformed since he died under a doctor's care.
