Returned to the DAC thread again (by clicking on the link in the Digital Line Level area) this morning and post #62 was visible. But I clicked back to the previous page and then returned to page 4 (20 posts per page) and post #62 had vanished! So perhaps the bug has to do with whether the ignored member is the first new post?
This is repeatable - clicking on the DLL link shows the post, going back to page 3 then again to page 4 hides it. So perhaps AlBennett could replicate this effect here?

Clicking on the link in the feeds list, post #26 isn't visible. I suspect that's because you added post #27 and so we didn't trigger the bug. If you post again as AlBennett to create post #29 but then don't post any further, let's see if I get the same behaviour as I noticed in the DAC thread.
Great - as predicted, the same behaviour as with the DAC thread. On clicking the link in the feeds, post #29 visible.
Now that I've posted, post #29 not visible.

That's interesting - clicked your link and post #29 visible. No other AlBennett posts visible, just that one.
Ah, I see - that's a direct link to post #29. So whenever a direct link to an ignored member's post is followed, its always shown, never hidden. Let's test with a direct link to post #26 : https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...ot-for-general-discussion.386750/post-7038629

Went over to the DAC thread again this morning, saw in the feeds that the last post was made by 'Ignored member' but his post wasn't visible this time. So has this particular bug been fixed? Clicking on the direct links in the post above, I still do see AlBennett's post but perhaps there's a different mechanism operating.
I wonder whether it would help to compare the links in question?
I am not aware of this issue being worked on since the last post.
What do you call the feeds?

The 'feeds' are what I see on the homepage - the list of threads most recently updated. I used this word because when I mouse over myself in the list of users online (top right), it shows I'm 'viewing feeds'.
Thanks. We've had occasion to look at the implementation of the feeds. That's why I became curious as to the consistency of the construction of the URLs.
I got an email notification that 'Testing account' had posted, that's prior to the three test posts above. I take it that post was deleted.
