You would have had the chance to be the first.
I was sure you can't do better. This just proved it.millwood said:
thank God for that.
What would have happened if the diplomats had signed a letter criticizing OBL's jihad?

😀
Why don't they have a bot that looks through the posts and flags the replies that are not connected in any way with the text replied to using some sort of icon called windmill? Actually it is not that hard to implement such a script. I'll put it on the request list.millwood said:why don't they have a sign where one puts his head in the sand?

Millwood who sold you those majic beens anyway?
Did you know that Americans are OBL,s only follower?

Those that are really out of their mind are enrollin themselfs.till said:lets hope the amerikan system works and they manage to get rid of this violent and lowbrained white trash folks. Send to iraq or another bad enemy country with the army , and be shot, dieing as a hero, or will die few years later from the uranium dust inhalated there. All in all its nothing more than a very intelligent plan to manage the crisis to have too many idiots in your population.
But that is really dangerous and I prefer them staying home. No need for the madman to kill many other civilians(US gave us enough examples in this direction, the so called collateral damage)
please remark i again forgot to set ironytags around that text. It was related to ... no. have to trigger yourself.
I failed you again... but no problem, you will reelect me again this year 😀 😉till said:please remark i again forgot to set ironytags around that text. It was related to ... no. have to trigger yourself.
Hey, another terrorist:

This time a youngster.
Looks like the folks over there like chasing elder/younger terrorists a lot. They encounter success as well.
A question for the wise guys: when is a state considered a "police state"?

When newspapers are no longer free to run stories about when the cops do dumb things or make mistakes.

Which (new?) laws were triggered and which "structure" are they atached to
where are they aimed?
What stopped him from falling under anti terror law? you no the ones, no rules, no evidence, no judge
I hope it wasn't the fact that he didn't fit the profile of the make it up as you go "TERROREST", maby next time if the "TERROREST THREAT" has changed shape again he wont be so lucky (after all elections are comming 😉 )
Another effective way of making an example out of somebody was to make them wear a star

when your taliban friends take over, that would definitely be a police state (actually worse than that).

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Oh you wise guy! Up to the mark once again.
Thank you for your intelligent words.
Indeed, you have proven the world once again what a wise guy you are.
Keep 'em comming.

promitheus said:the taliban can´t be a police state because they are no state and have no police
are we talking about taliban is a police state or that when the taliban takes over (a state) that state becomes a police state?
those discussions are always confusing, aren't they?

I believe that Afghanistan under Taliban rule would be considered a theocracy. Not a police state but I don't think anyone would could consider the enforcement of Islam-inspired Sharia exactly enlightened behaviour. Thought countrol is probably closer to accurate.

What exactly were they making them an example of? I thought the Nazis did this to identify them as a Jew? They used red, green, and pink triangles for the same purpose.

An example of what not to be
An example of what not to say
An example of what not to do
An example of the power and reach of the gastapo
"Nazis did this to identify them as a Jew?"
The gastapo identified eveyone 😱 (how did they know if you were a jew or NOT a jew)
In Hitler's Nazi Germany it was more important to be a non-jew (pro nazi)
One example of this, Hitler wanted all the sciencetists to work on his war machine (balistics, aerodynamics ect.) so he labled other things like theoretical phisics a "Jewish science" then got his propagander ministers to LINK it to somethink bad that realy happend, got his thugs to burn some books in public and got his gastapo to enforce it. With all this going on would you want to practice theoretical phisics in Germany

Einstine didn't 😱
Ironicly this is one of the many reasions why Hitler never got the atomic bomb
The "JEW" was never a person to begin with, just an object of fear
I'm no sure I'm getting the message you are trying to convey.
Something about Godwin's Law and Pink Triangle turntables as far as I can puzzle out.
Godwin's Law eh
Does this apply to the war on terror aswell
In the future I think it will
Maby even now?

Godwin's Law
Sound like anything else 😉
"THE WAR ON TERROR" 😱
Godwin's Law As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.
Corollary of Practicality There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, the thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups.
Gordon's Restatement of Newman's Corollary to Godwin's Law Libertarianism (pro, con, and internal faction fights) is the primordial netnews discussion topic. Anytime the debate shifts somewhere else, it must eventually return to this fuel source.
Morgan's Corollary to Godwin's Law As soon as such a comparison occurs, someone will start a Nazi-discussion spinoff thread on alt.censorship.
Sircar's Corollary If the online discussion touches on homosexuality or Heinlein, Nazis or Hitler are mentioned within three days.
Van der Leun's Corollary As global connectivity improves, the probability of actual Nazis being on the Net approaches one.
Miller's Paradox As a network evolves, the number of Nazi comparisons not forestalled by citation to Godwin's Law converges to zero.
