Nope. Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

I was referring to the 14-pin 74HC** (the chip which is just before the pulse transformer) that XO3 uses for the SPDIF.

Ruach I do'nt think it's what you think it is, I remember asking Guido about this and I did'nt get a straight answer, but I think it's more special than just a straight 74HC**** that's why he grinds the number off, or could it be reverse psychology to make us think it's some new type of buffer that nobodys caught onto yet.

Hi Guido, thanks for your clarification. I will pop by my local diy parts store for the 1000uF Blackgate. The lead space for the 470uF Blackgate doesn't quite fit the solderpads on the PCB.
