OH SHinomasta ,
and what if there is no box?🙄
I've played around with the Manger on an OB and I can't in good conscience recommend it over a sealed enclosure.
Please explain "the dogs danglies" ???
Will you ever stop talking in strange language ...??😀
Maybe I should have said nearly as good as shaggin.
Shinooowwwwwaaaaaa :

"The bees' knees"
"The wasps' nipples"
(erogenous zones of almost any flying being)
Shin, why did you get rid of them?
Re: Re: mid/tweet
RD75 and ATC neoplanars are both crossed @ ~600 Hz 2nd, with the Neos padded down due to higher spl (~92 dB vs. 89 for RD75)
I'm still tweaking the crossover... also not sure that my neoplanars are the same "stock" neo's, since they were supposedly custom built run for some pricey yacht guy in the northwest.
The system sound is pretty spectacular, though,... incredible imaging throughout the house... phenomenal dynamics... a true "you are there" experience... the stereo image illusion seems to stay put in the room no matter where you move around... wife, daughter, friends all agree and have volunteered such w/o prompting...
I believe the distortion spec is worst case engineering stuff, since this opn. doesn't really cater to "audiophiles"...I've not measured it... just going by what my ears tell me, it doesn't seem to be a problem... shimmer of cymbals and snare rimshots are startlingly realistic... no shhshhing at all, nor is there any stridency or excessive sybilance... guitar string squeaks are scarily realistic... and slap bass takes on a whole new immediacy
Other than the notch filter on the RD's there's no xover in the mix > 600hz point... one of the reasons I believe this sytem has such a coherent image.

Where are you crossing over the RD75 and ATC? The THD on the Neoplanar documenation says 1.7%. That seems a bit high.
