Tekton Lore DIY

+1 for Wayne's 2pi towers. It's a better speaker than people think it can be because it seems so minimal/simple. Built one as a gift for a friend and looked at other ways but it's tougher to find something really economical doing an honest 95 that'll play anything standalone. Not the last word in res, but a very solid speaker given the kit price and "build-and-forget" if you follow the directives to the letter.

I am defo looking to try a kit, but I didn't see what impedence ratings the speakers are.
I am fed up of paying lots of money for big manufacturer speakers, to find out the spec's were exagerated.

We all hear differently, and like different things we hear. I will go on record saying I've heard about five or six pair and have found them absolutely terrible sounding speakers every time and every system. Not only that, I have three friends who have sold their tekton. I personally find them to be very flawed in their sound signature, but maybe you like them! To each his own
