Teen Wall Speaker 59$

Some 5 years ago Audiovideo.fi designed these Teen Wall Speakers. They were ment to match cheap price and quality sound for teenage kids. Price was about 59$. The drivers were from big stock of leftovers.

Kaiutinrakennusohje Teini-seinakaiutin ja Teinijytky-aktiivisubwoofer - AudioVideo

Bassdrivers: Nokia Harman LPT 145/25/100FS
Tweeter: Nokia Harman LPKH 50/10/100 SKF

Now it seems that the big stock has been consumed and I can't advance in my project to build pair of these. Actually the tweeter is missing. Any help to replace it?

The parts came from Kaiutinelementit - Hifitalo

Edit: parts came available and I used those. Teenage Wall Speaker 50$

W250 is truly capable of being crossed that high. Off the shelf filter will be less than optimal but it looks as if you did not care much about that at all. The overall cost is rather high.

edit: My advice is to find a set of second hand Cerwin Vega speakers.

I will address and upgrade the crossover at some point and the same goes with the speaker boxes.

Electronical parts cost is 93€ per unit (=cheap)
Proto box costs 54€ per unit (True box for these with nice finish could cost 250€ per unit)

thanx for feedback, it's needed through this project

Some simulations of the elements combined with 3000Hz crossover.
Any thoughts?

Since I won't be using Visatons crossover, I won't order them.
Instead here is a 1557Hz crossover after some rounding up the numbers.
Crossover components seems to be about 20+ € per unit (slightly cheaper than Visatons).

It seems its bad to go below "optimum" 1720Hz so I upgarded crossover components to something that I can order from shop. Now crossover point sets to 1747Hz. BoxSim 2.0 does the optimization automatically, but Its left to you figure out what to order from shop and this can be pretty iterative job. ;)

Erkkki1's crossover suggestion looks good. Off axis is about as important as on-axis. Try to keep the crossover values as intended, dont change them, you can combine parts (caps/coils/resistors) to reach exact values.

Keep the width/height of the baffle and the driver placement on the baffle as erkki1 set the box-parameters in Boxsim.

Erkki1 gave me the crossover electrical plan and suggestion was crossover @2200Hz, but didn't have the box optimimized to it. I learned how to do it and the crossover sets to @1720Hz. Some of component values was pretty close to what shop has to offer. I also tried to keep it simple because variance of the component actual values. I ended up crossover @1747Hz.
