It doesn't really matter here but black on 285 will give proper polarity.

8 and 9v of drive for all FETs seems too high for those voltages. If one was 9v and the other much lower, I would think the duty cycle was far off of 50%. Re-check and repost the voltages for both banks with the load connected.

I measured Q284/285 collector to collector

Its only the one bank that change voltage with a load attached and the other doesnt change at all

Ive just found out there is 7.9v on drain to source on the output fets

That 7.9v with no rectifiers in

Capacitors can self-recharge to some degree. It's called dielectric absorption.

Ive taken the drivers out and checked them nothing wrong with them not leaking and its reading right. But why does the amp go into protection. Could it be because of the driver board

This is the sound card but i dont see a dwm1200

It's VERY odd that the drive changes on only one bank. They should work alternately. The problem could be on the driver board. The most common problem is the two 1D transistors in the center of the board.

The one on the left has a volt reading on diode test of 0.948v
