Commercial electric meter
Q21
Base= 12.33vdc
Collector= 11.97vdc
Emitter= 12.34vdc
I'm confused

I liked my uei meter .... not cheap but doesn't break bank .... are they unreliable?
I may have klein in the garage want me to grab it?
I may have klein in the garage want me to grab it?
Maybe solder is making connection under q22 or something want me to pick it off and check connections?
This is what I'd expect (approximately).
Q22
B: 0.6v
C: just over 0v
E: 0v (directly connected to ground)
Q21
B: 0.6v below the emitter voltage
C: just below the emitter voltage
E: equal to the B+ supply voltage
Post a photo of the area again, after you removed R1.

I removed a few resistors and q22 ...all pads and components look good nothing seems out of place ....
How could you read something other than 0v on the emitter of Q22 if it's connected directly to ground?
My mistake lol I have way to many meters out and i was shoveling ice cream in my face ......How could you read something other than 0v on the emitter of Q22 if it's connected directly to ground?
Emitter to ground = 1.797 Kohms and jumps +9 every second
Isn't there fresh solder on it?
If you weren't making contact, the voltage should be near 0v, not near 12v.

True ... I would touch the emitter it would show a ohm reading and go right back to O.L it kept doing it might be the meter might me be I dunno .... I added flux and heat in case ..I... you've never had a hard time getting a connection on a pad before but if u touch higher up on leg it reads fine .... what meter do u suggest I get ? The meter on your on website?.... I need a much more sensitive meter ill order 1 today ....Isn't there fresh solder on it?

I'm was gonna order a used oscilliscope this week , but I have a handheld oscilliscope I can use for now I think I shoukd upgrade meter first
I thought you had the UEI, an analog and some sort of commercial meter. Is the UEI the only digital meter you have?
