Signal Generator+Multimeter VS. SMD IM-SG ( multitool? )

I´m starting to understand things, but still in a very simple / elementary way.

I have now found a second site with different TS parameters located here:

The second TS parameters differs from the first TS parameters I found; located here: Tannoy Monitor Thiele & Small Parameters
I want to do this right the first time.
QUESTIONS REGARDING IMPORTANCE OF CORRECT TS PARAMETERS:
1. How exact does these measurements have to be to get a good enough / proper result?
2. Will I hear the difference on speakers with TS parameters measured for exact driver / vs. / using one of the standard TS parameters for the Tannoy Gold 12" found on net?
WHAT IS THE EASIEST ( money is always a parameter here too ) WAY TO MEASURE TS PARAMETERS OF EXACT DRIVER:
It looks to me that this unit does it all: SMD IM-SG (Impedance Meter / Signal Generator) - including tuning of bass port.
I have a multimeter, I could probably get a signal generator / or / digital signal generator software + sound card for the same job: but I´m really considering the first option because of the simple interface...
What should I do?

using one modeling software, try inputing the T/S params and see the results.
Change to the other T/S params and see the results.
Compare the differences. They may be gross, or tiny.

I decided to go with the Chevoit plans for my build. Extra braving and all in bamboo ply.
Sounds great. Tight bass control and clear highs. The Mods are the highlight though.
