You know, this tweeter could give you some great performance for much less cost than the Aurum Cantus ribbon: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=275-035

With a 3.5 khz 2nd order crossover, I believe it would be a great match for the WR125s. Check out Zaphaudio.com for some evaluation of both of these drivers.

An alternate to that ND20TB is the ND20TA, which might take less work in the crossover. I've been itching to give this combination a try- the WR125S, possibly in an MTM, with a tiny neodymium tweeter. The drivers have great Xmax so they can play low enough to cross to just about any woofer, yet are small enough to have tight center-to-center spacing.

I guess my dream setup for higher output on the WR125s would include the Vifa D26NC55 as the tweeter in an MTM arrangement with a lower crossover point than the ND20TB would allow. Unfortunately these tweeters are discontinued, so even if I got them now I'd be out of luck on future replacements.

This looks like a fun project- so please let us know what you do.
