After many years my "system" is ready and i am very satisfied with the result of this low budget / high quality sound composition.
There are no high's, mid's or low's, just music with a very wide dispersion and large sound stage.
Source: Acer notebook / Tidal and some 192KHz music files + JCally JM20 review

A couple weeks ago I took a road trip to bring home a pair of Thiel CS7 speakers. They are temporarily in my basement system replacing a set of Unity Audio sat/subs I've owned for 40 years. In fact most of the system was bought 40 years ago and I'm still satisfied with it.
The CS7 take it to a much higher level but they are too big for this 12 x 14 room. Despite their imposing size, when the music starts they just disappear and don't call attention to themselves. A high compliment.
Soon I will move them to my summer home--soon to be retirement home. They'll fit much better here.
They will replace a pair of Unity Audio "Cerous 6" speakers I bought at a pawn shop this year.
Being familiar with Unity Audio & their creator I didn't hesitate to jump on these at the asking price.

My latest build. This is my 4th pair of speakers, and I'm kind'a getting the hang of it. I'm calling them The Bargainhunters because the goal was to keep price down by "hunting" for bargains and using as many leftover parts as I could.

Hey Mr. Them there tweeters look familiar.
Cheers Byron, they look great. Interesting placement of the terminals. Can we guess what that’s for?

So that the speakers can be flat against a wall or bookshelf. Can we guess what that’s for?
