Suggestion BR Cabinet for TangBand W4-1337SDF

Sorry -I got confused when you said
I have the curve 😉.
As I mentioned above, to model a TL, we need to know its dimensions. Obviously that's not possible because the plan is a commercial product and we don't have access to it. I don't have time to sit through the videos unfortunately, but from the appearance, this is a very simple end-loaded line, with little taper, and little practical driver offset, so its performance in outright terms is likely to be limited, or at least more 'characterful' 😉 compared to alternative configurations -these things all share certain characteristics you see: it's part of the physics behind their operation. End-loading for e.g. provides maximum excitation of the fundamental and all relevant harmonic modes, so typically requires a greater level of damping than when the driver is offset / tapped into the line at x distance from the throat, unless you're not worried with the probable cancellations etc. And so on. It's points like this that Dave will have been referring to.

Thank you for your time.
It's not my intention to you to spent some time on this thread 😉 .
If you fast forward the building movie you will get an idea about the construction and damping.
This cost you not much time 🤣.
But thank's to you and Dave for the constructive replies 👍.

They are very usefull and I now can further with it.

There are lots of variations build with this little driver.
But I know that these drivers has some limitations 😀 compared with 4x 15 inches.

Just having a quick play with hornresp, there is an option (among others) in hornresp to use Martin Kings 2006 method to model and compare various straight and tapered offset driver TLs/horns. A TL enclosure of about 17 litres and 72cm line was the initial result from which further customisation is possible. If an MLTL enclosure is preferred, the input wizard can be used to develop the model. For that line length, a cross sectional area of 225cm^2 approximates 17 litres. Driver and port/terminus offset as well as other dimensions can be tweaked as desired in the loudspeaker wizard. Response may not be as efficient/pretty as the smaller enclosure sims above.

I had a quick look at the video (these are mostly usefless, the first thing that woulkd have me clsoing the video that he is building with MDF).

Scott explained in nice detaill how useful a driver offset is, on first look i’d say teh line is way too long.

Can you translate it please?
I can not understand you......

And now in good English 😀 🤣 👍

Translate “too long”?

Quarter wavelength of 70 Hz is about 120 cm, your TL should be about 60 cm tall.

We did a very successful verfsatile, end loaded TL and the entire thing with length less than 80 cm. https://frugal-phile.com/boxlib/microTower-maps-020615.pdf

The design you posted looks like it was “designed” using classic methods, ie it is just mostly a guess.

Which sucks like an asthmatic echidna on the top of Mt. Everest. Although since it appears to be a gated in-room measurement (likely at 1m), it's difficult to tell what we're actually looking at -the room response, as usual, is screwing up the LF something chronic. However, from that and the impedance curve, it's reasonably safe to say the box is tuned somewhere in the high 40s, with little suppression of F3 in particular, and FR dropping < roughly 70Hz.
