who cares that the pix are not GREAT , they are acomplishments
made by sucessfull diyers :up: its just this kind of negitivity thats turns people off ,not the pix

and i dont know what pix you have seen but there are lots of good results on this fourm ,the pictures you are refering to from ywh are not good they are GREAT !!!

im just saying keep the pix coming you know what the actual results are who cares what anyone thinks i love all the pix :bigeyes:

Hey Qui, keep up the good work. the pics showed the setup fine as far as I'm concerned.Gives the rest of us something to compare our setups to.

Yes you have to extend a flat "gate ribbon" cable connecting the boards inside. NO SOLDERING INVOLVED! Just alot of patience and a steady hand. Hey, a guy from Canada did it... that just goes to show you ANYONE can do it

He seems to have a thing about "a guy from Canada" leading the way. Let him go at it, we'll still applaud his efforts as well as yours, EH?

You may see acomplishments... but I'm sorry... I dont. Other then showing people how NOT to do things bad pics arent worth a dame thing!

And what results of mine are you talking about? I'm still in the middle of making my tutorial... I havent even gotten to the results yet you little child. Problem is I'm not a kid... I have a life and work and things to do 🙂

Besides... I didnt pick a monitor that everyone else was using. I'm doing this without any help from scratch.

And no Canadian will ever lead the way in anything... I'm sorry!

And Proto... that is not results... zoom out... get some of the room in the picture... dont just shoot the screen!

zoom out????

It's kinda hard to zoom out when the picture is like 130" diagonal.......I can barely fit the screen in the frame when I'm against the opposite wall! If these results aren't good enuf, I'd suggest you spend $4-8,000 on an XGA projector. Here's a shot with my kids to give you an idea of picture scale....but this was on my double shower curtain screen, not as nice of a picture as my new Da-Lite 8 x 12 glass bead job.:nod:

jcbklyny exactly my point ,dont come and flame on people if you yourself havent posted any results!!!

ha ha little child, i dont think so i too have a job and things to do
but im not the dumb one to pick a monitor with a cable to extend
when there are others without the cable that are just as good or better . so when you find time to finish your project i will be here waiting to see your results have a nice day 😉
