Hello I am building the esp subwoofer filter :
http://sound.westhost.com/project48.htm and my problem is how could I use polarised capacitors to make a nonpolarised capacitor of 4.7uF that is very large about 5 cm long and 1cm wide.The only ones I could find were rated 400 Volts and had those dimensions.
Is this posible to achive? Thanks

Why do you want to use polarised caps for this?
Use a film cap, polypropylene would have the size you want

I know that there are this kind of capacitors but I can't find any to buy...I went to 3 diferent stores and didn't have any that the huge ones, and any polarised capacitors.And this is why I asked the question...
Put two condensers in series.
Take two electrolitic condensers, the one that have polarization, put plus with plus, or minus with minus.... two 10 uf units will make a non polarized 5 uF....... also two 22 uf will make one non polarized 11 uf....if big values.... you will have some inductance because internal condenser construction is alike a coil.... this way you put a parallel 0.1 parallel unit with them to guaranteed hi frequency will pass..... coil an make some resistance to hi frequencies.

I forgot voltage.
When you put two condenser in series, the voltage capacity doubles.
This way, two 10uf / 50 Volts condenser will make one unipolar, or no polarized, of 5uF / 100 Volts.
Normally, measuring the capacity is always bigger, and the voltage capacity also.
If sound better or worst, i cannot say, but it will work.

Hardly the point when putting two unipolars back to back.
Two 50V unipolars make one 50V bipolar,
DC ratings, for AC ratings degrade to 35V.
