actually PC route ive seen the VGA solder, and its not so hard. Actually, us mac users wouldnt have your detection issues. If it has a second monitor port/card, it automatically forces the screen on. I just gotta get a stupid 30$ adaptor.

Ps2 res is what, 640x480 i assume? or did they dumb it down to 320x240? I know N64 looks HORRIBLE on anything above 320x240. It looks pixelated like crazy.

However, im not too worried about screen door. I just came up from a game of NHL pro hits, and stared at the quality of our garbage picked bigscreen. For one, i could never adjust the color right so the ice looks red, and the convergence is all F'd in the top right corner...and we dont seem to give 2 craps about it. So, seems to me alittle pixelation wont be too much a bother. We'll definently blow it up way bigger than 60", well in the garage we will. Room ill be lucky if i get it 40". So i figure ill just settle for PSone LCD until i can afford to find a better LCD thatll work on a RPTV projection tube

here is a 2.5meter projected image using the PSone mini console. i was quite amazed by the result. with the proper adjustment of the CRT lens the border between pixel is unnoticeable.

Is that just your camera making it really dark? Otherwise thats pretty neat! I know what your talking about borderwise, ive seen your project thread. Then again, if you could get that boarder to show up equally all the way around the image, and BRIGHT enough, you could make it like a picture/fishtank whatever, then when you wanna game/watch tv it changes...thatd be kinda cool, its lilke a projected frame.

actually, i also wonder why my attachements become dark. but on my file it is brighter. well, all the pics posted was taken from a canon a20 set at manual with flash off and resize it without any brightness/contrast adjustment.
i hope this one is bright enough. that's my brother in the picture to let you get the feel of the size image🙂

sorry to say but the image is still dim😕
