Strange problem with Pearl 2 and SAE Cartridge

Is "RL" in the sketch R19 on the Pearl 2 schematic? Didnt make sense that a zobel was strung "across the inputs" but appears that each input has a zobel going from input to same place R19 grounds? Or am I missing it?

Yes

The issue is that the SAE is a very high inductance cartridge. The Zoble loads it down so it doesn't ring.

I had the cartridge on my Pearl 2 and it did exactly as McQuaide described without the Zobel, but the fix was easy (suggested by Wayne, of course...) and the problem is gone.

The Cart sounds really fantastic, BTW. 🙂

Any resistor would be fine -- the only power it's seeing is what the cartridge can generate.
