do they putt a mini human to yeal in the middle of those 3d printed stones ??? how about the body of the guy that is handling the mic or speaker in the reverb process ?
What the interrest of such experiment ? Do they recreat the wind with a fan too ? Seriously theuu had monney do to that ?

Apparently, the 1/12th scale model of Stonehenge revealed that the completed monument would have magnified speech and improved musical sounds, but only for those inside the stone circle.
Because of how the stones were placed, speech or music would not have projected beyong Stonehenge into the countryside or even to people standing near the stone circle.
The team placed speakers and microphones at various points inside and just outside the Stonehenge model and found that sound lingered within the stones with a reverberation time averaging 0.6s for mid-frequency sounds. This, they say, would have boosted the ability to hear voices and would have enhanced the sounds of drums or other musical instruments.
Further research is required to determine why “Stonehenge hums when the wind blows hard”! 😀

Well there are echos. But it is not because you can proceed to cut an hair in four parts it was initially made for this. Some also stated than rhe calendar purpose was pure modern invention.
We do not know...certainly one of those constructions to slave people brains by people deciding it should be made...still today with huge sky creepers. Wonder if the guys in 10 000 years will make a 1/26 3d print of the City to hear the wind aound the phalic tower....

... sky creepers.
I love your unintentional humour, iggy! 😍
The term "sky creepers" could be used to describe the "scary aliens" who built the henge as a model of the solar system and a landing pad.
However peoples, please note there is no evidence to support Erich von Däniken's theory! 👽
" Think that the problem may have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf "
If sound lingers longer in the middle? what happens if you Fart in the middle.
They should test it in the model. With scale elephants and scale wind.
What is the point of this research LOL
Stonehenge is Grey, we hired 90 millennials to research why.
Updates on the way.
On a serious note I really like scale models. That model they made would look
great for a G scale backyard Railroad.
It would be a tempting film site for new Godzilla movie too

It means you're hungry, and you want a big piece of cherry pie. 😉
jeff
LOL
And Pi starts with P which is the 16th letter of the alphabet.
Using numerical positions in the alphabet as a common denominator.
We can precisely calculate horse race winners using the apex of each
stone according to the current calendar. By standing in the middle and
whispering and then adding the delay time to the wind howl variation
the winner should be very clear.

And 16 is half of my teeth.
Maybe SH is a two raws of teeth, one raw of the top near the one of the bottom but side to side. Maybe it was just a local butcher and the first trace of marketing. Or a dentist ?
