heya nd how are ya bud? 9i see u got ya self a great light, now just the ballast to go, lets just hope your light is ok from the post lol, my project is going good, im painting it still and as usual paint always has a tendacy to **** up lol but by wed it should be finnished, im kind of hoping monday but ill get u guys some more pics anyway

ok i just got an email from my supplier and he said he will get me a FULL HQI (magnetic) ballast kit for......70$$ USD (shipping included) and we're still in "talks" im trying to see if i can get a fan with the ballast and a timer.I think we can get discounts if more ppl order, so if you are interested in a 70$$ USD please post it. I would deff be interested for that deal, Still I wonder how Much a 400 wtt HQI bulb/ ballest would be( can you ask LOL) I want daytime viewing darnit dayyyyyyyy timmmmmmmmeeeee, Not direct sun But shades open, Not sure if 250 will do that, Although diylabs says 250 will work, Alan need to get us some pics of this" daytime" viewing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont think projectors are meant to be watched with too much ambient light.Imagine going to the movies and watching it with ALL the lights one, AND outdoor ,or drive in theaters only show movies at night.
Ok as for the 400w HQI there are VERY hard to find and VERY expensive, i think i have some links for HQI bulbs, but the ballast is 174-200 i cant remember exactly. sorry i dont have time to look for it if you really want it i can give you my links.
oh, i watch my Pj in the daytime all the time, but my room has no windows...
any ways i just got GTA vice city and i'll be busy for a while 🙂

besides all the ladies on my blcok i have seen them MILLIONS of time...lol
and i live on the second floor there are windows in the room next to me so there is SOME sunlight coming in but not enough to affect image.
BTW, hows your project goin? i JUST FINALLY found out what a dremel tool is...lol and my step dad has one so all i need now are some parts for it! 😀

Hey negative, I olnl am wanting something to be able to be watched in daylight so I can watch My usual TV shows on abig screen also, Usually movies your right I wait till its dark or close the shade etc. Gonna email alan from DIYlabs and see if he has done any tests to see its light output in the daytime etc.
Halogen heat vs Metal Halide
Im currently running a BUHL ohp and a Polaview 3000 .... testing with a 500W halogen work light.. .. im going to buy a light system soon... but dont know what to use... 250W MH or 400W MH to retrofit into my overhead projetor....
With the halogen my panel gets very hot.... .. I read around and it say that Metal Halide is not as hot.. but i dont know if 400W metal halide will be good for my overhead... it look like its going to be real hot.. also... Anyone from experience tell me whats the different heat temperature between the 500W halogen compare to the 400W MH? hmm or should I go for the 250W MH?

hey guys, I recieved my HQI bulb 2day(ealrier than i expected) everythng seems ok...this bulb is a bute 🙂 its not as small as it looks in the pics this thing is pretty big, but pales in compaison to regular MH and 400 HQI's.
any ways, my connection hasnt emailed me yet hes a SLOW emalier, but for 70$ its worth the wait 70$ INCLUDING SHIPPING mind you! lol leave yellertwo.com alone unless you are willing to pay more...and i kow your that dumbm pooh pooh lol 🙂
