For those that want to use it for other voltages than 5V: make that 18V DC max at the input of the regulator to keep a safe margin (mains voltage spikes etc.). A 12V 3A transformer is likely to be the maximum value you can safely use. Always calculate with max. possible ripple and 0.5 V over the reg for possible output voltages.
Please understand that I only tested 5V which can be achieved with 5 or 6 V rated transformers. Not higher values.

I am hoping to buy 4 boards. The GB form only goes up to 3 boards, so I put in one form with 3 boards and a second form with 1 board for a total of 4. I hope that is the right way to approach it.
Of course, since the boards are already ordered, so I understand that I might be limited in quantity.

Why not a new one? 😛I hope you will like it. It outperforms the original switched PSU. My tip is to go hunting for old analog Ampere-meters as I included a connector for measuring current. A tad retro is nice.
In for 3.

New is OK but the older ones just look better and they were better made.
😀 I figured that. I ended up getting a Sanwa, after I finally got a scope (it took the scope for me to finally "get" why you'd want to use analog meters). It's definitely better built than anything I can get locally, but it is modern bendy plastic, and not quite a Hamfest-find tank.New is OK but the older ones just look better and they were better made.
Busy.... schematic and BOM only to buyers. This to avoid blah blah that only costs time. I see we are near the number of boards we ordered...
Schematic has been updated, BOM will be polished. Please allow for some time. The way things go now is fast compared to the V3 GB 😉

You won't be using it for just another R2R DAC are you ? 😉
No, eh yes... well maybe....
No seriously, I will be using it for one of my three SBTs. Which might be connected to a r2r dac if I ever find one that will satisfy my sensitive ears 😉

Any way to confirm my order was received? I don't think I got a confirmation email.
Me neither.
I'm out. In the meantime I found another solution, SBT psu isn't what I need anymore. Please cancel my order.
Hi all, emails wil be sent. I was away for a few days and I have 2 weeks holiday right now. Tomorrow is the closing date for ordering.
Fine with me if you can live with a less good PSU 🙂. Sorry that it takes time but I don't have a shop or something like that. Again, first of may is the closing date so it still goes as planned (which is amazing 😉 )
