This afternoon I have replaced the SAA7310 and have perfect pulses on the mcs pin. But the cd motor is still not running, the signal goes through an opamp and then to a TCA0372DP2 chip from that point through a connector to the circuitboard below the cdm1 mk2 drive and the to the hall motor pcb. Somewhere in tis circuit the pulses ar lost.
I also managed to get in some sort of serviceposition and saw an error ER02 wich means no TL puls during startup. In this service position I can let the focus lens go up and down and shut down the pulses from the SAA7310 but I can not let the laserarm move only the above works in this service menu. ?
Any help suggestions Please
Regards Rene.

I recognise the pcb that sits under the CDM as exactly the same as one of the two versions of the Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 9000 from the mid-late '80's. Perhaps you can find a schematic/service manual online somewhere or from B&O.
Could this be a unit from Daisy Laser? (They provided mechanisms to a lot of the smaller OEMs.) Unfortunately even if that is the case Daisy is less than helpful with these older units, just like Philips itself.
Thanks everyone for helping the Sphinx is working I overlooked a defect smd resistor in the circuitboard of the hallmotor.
Thanks René.🙂
