Oh, I see...already had the feeling that's the case -thanks for the info
Good that I wrote teabag than
I remember some Diyer get Vfet part2 gerbers from Mr.Pass and make few pcb's pairs 🙂
Okay, so the gerbers at least existed somewhen..let's see if they still do and Mr. Pass generously shares them with us here🙂
...just found the pcb art https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pass-labs/276711-sony-vfet-amplifier-2-a-35.html#post4401429

Already wrote with him earlier and messaged him now about his post.
Always great to see that someone on diyaudio is always able to help somebody else out in one way or another 🙂
What's great with Mr. Pass Vfet's PCBs gerbers?
They are easy to match with the original schematic imho 🙂

Just posting pics of my VFET Al. I would like to thank Mr Pass for the design, Tea Bag for the PCB's and DIY audio for the kits. They have been finished for a while but apathy prevented me from posting sooner.

Pug fugly! Did you have that top plate milled specially? Reminds me of the Digital do Main cases.
Inspiring! I’ve got 4 of those heatsinks but not quite as tall. This shows me the path to using them for a single VFET “part 1” amp! 2 on each side with the mounting bracket bridging between them!

I stole the idea from Digital do Main. I know a Mech Eng from a previous job who i supplied the material and CNC program for the top plate. He also milled the rest of the chassis.
