Sony CDX-8800 parts supplier in UK
Following the instructions in the service manual I have finally got around to taking this car hi-fi apart and having a closer look after the 2nd , smaller LCD display failed recently, I've been living without the main display for months 🙂
I inspected the flexible umbilical PCB ribbon cable connecting the Main unit to the flip down display for electrical continuity and it has several conducters open circuit, so needs to be replaced.
The Sony part number is;
Ref Number: CNP909
Part Number: 1-774-677-21
Description: Connector, FCP (ZIF) 24P
