Yes it is, veneered but it is
I'm not sure how will they sound like, but i think it's going to be beauty when finished!!

Meanwhile the painting work is going on, I’m painting the feets for the cabinets made in 5mm height iron coated with black painting:
In the former picture we can see the crossover location in their placement.
Here we have the main components for the crossover fixed with mounting adhesive
Coils have been placed Ander Troels Gravesen’s directions: Placement of coils in crossover networks

I have been soldering the wires to be used.
First of all I will use OFC copper wires for teweeters and mids (16AWG) and OFC copper wire (12AWG) for woofers.
Later I will test some silver plated OFC copper wires with the same gauge for the hole system: TW, mids and woofers.
Maybe I will be able to pick up my cabinets tomorrow….

Because I have any more space and I dont want to have the filter outside.
Who knows, maybe when measuring, if I have to change I can relocate the filter.

As the owner of a real pair of Cremonas and having had an extensive look inside, I can assure you that you have more than done yourself proud with the cabinets. Unless I heard them I couldn't comment on the sound, but the cabinet work is definitely worthy.
Thank you very much!
It's been a very satisfying work right now and I'm very happy to have decided to build this clones.
I guess the sound as they look, lets see what happens this weekend.
Did you take any pictures from your cremonas?

I have extensive photos, measurements and a complete schematic of the cross overs with values, but to respect SF IP I won't share with anyone. I was planning on building some clones myself but decided against it for something better. If you read some of my build post threads you might pick up the odd clue to some of the internal workings.
Putting the crossover components out of the box is already a betterment...... but decided against it for something better
Agree to improve on the original I would also go external with the xover, that way it is an easy conversion to active.
Edit: by better I meant better drivers the Revelators in the Cremonas are nice but the Illuminators blow them out of the water, so if I was building a clone it wouldn't be using the original Revelators and definitely not the tweeter.

Well active or external Xover would be the next inmprovement for my system too, but now I need to test what I already have planned.
Well this s the final result after painting.
and now, installing the Xover with very few space.
The feet installed as well

And here we have the cabinets placed in their final location and ready for the Scan Speak to be installed on

Now its time or the ScanSpeak stuff and to power this nice and beauty cabinets
I have to say they sound to me like heaven’s music, deep, strong, and delicate at once.

I have to say that the final result has been much more than better than I ever thought.
To say that I’m happy or proud it’s not true. It’s much more than that

Congratulations they are beautiful (normally a word for women not speakers). You should be extremely proud of your results, they are first class.
