Is there a US distributor or do we need to get them direct from Eurozone?
No United States dealer. You have to buy direct from the website. Shipping to Michigan for me is $70.00 dollars on top of the price of the drivers. Sorry for the late reply. Jeff
that's fair deal , just 70 greenies on top
as I'm always saying , and - again - without any connections with Sonido guys except being very satisfied customer - I found their drivers having extremely good bang for the buck value
taking my old ears in account and lack of interest in any excessive tweaking , no need for any eq. is refreshing .......
edit: just to note , dunno did anyone mention it before - SWR series of drivers are intended for horn loading , while SWR are made for bass reflex boxes primary ; that's at least what Mr. Varga said

SWR 250-8/F looks pretty good.
Just need to put each on top of a 18" in a 200 liter box and xo around 400hz?

400Hz from 18' are not so good. Better do not exceed 120Hz with 18', but that is already asking for bi-amping...
So, I would pair 250swr with 15inch better.

I'm sorry, but that does not compute.
You're saying a 18" is unuseable at 400hz, absolute max 120hz, but a 15" works well to 3-400hz?
So a cone that's 3" bigger, has 1/3rd the useable frequency range?
Perhaps we live in different worlds.
I see no problem crossing this over at 4-500hz.
COLOSSUS 18XB
Matches well with the sensitivity on the 10" 250SWR, and who's not bi-amping these days? Much easier to do crossovers at low-ish frequencies.
And it's less trouble than using double amount of smaller drivers.

Very interesting drivers on paper. Prices are sane. Anyone compared them with MarkAudio ones? I also want to use them biamped and crossed low, so I don't care much about bass extension. Is it good idea to use those sealed?
I never heard MarkAudio , but from last time when I was reading anything - there is first and distinctive difference between Sonido and MA - db/W/m
so , at least in my book , there can't be direct comparison -you either prefer one or the other way

Totaly agree with you, that those are very different kind of drivers. It's true, that this is apples & oranges comparison. But I'm still curious if there is someone who experienced both.
I like detail, timbre and livelike reproduction of my Alpair's 7.3, so I don't want driver considerably worst in this regard.
Better sensitivity is deffinitely bonus -as there will be no problem of driving those with typical 25 wpc class A by your papa even in moderately sized room🙂

Hello everyone. I am helping a friend with a fullrange project. He wanted some Voxativ drivers but, saw the price and just to much money. We stumbled upon a company called Sonido fullrange driver's. Looks really nice. Not to many reviews but the gallery has a lot of customers using these driver's. Also they are not to much money compared to other fullrange driver's. I did e mail the owner very nice and very helpful. I like that. So what are your thoughts and have you heard or know of anyone that has used or heard these fullrange driver's? Thanks jm
I have been happy with the SFR200A and the Hourglass BLH. I purchased three pairs in 2011 and I don't feel a need to try something else. I find them well balanced. At that time you could only pay by wire transfer which was difficult. Maybe now purchasing options are better.
I just love the voicing with the F3's. I try different amps for a while, then I return to the F3's.

Wow, that is some gorgeous woodwork there BDP, very nice looking speaker.
I'm following with interest. I did in fact receive some private correspondence from Istvan to show me some box simulations and inform me about a new field-coil driver - I don't think, given the context, that my saying this here is violating any rules.
My main concern with full range drivers is shouty treble but from all accounts these drivers seem to elicit positive reports without any concerns. Given that the top end is good, that leaves the low end to worry about and here, as usual, big boxes are best and large drivers tend to do better overall. So I'd be looking at their largest full range driver, the 300, which to my eyes shows bass response that would benefit from a horn loaded approach.
