Weldon is an English name, stolen by Ireland a bunch of centuries ago. There are many ‘Weldon’ things, most in England.
Crosby, my mother’s maiden name is genuine Irish. I am very, very distantly related to Bing, and even more distant to David.

Calhoun is the name. Yes a southern USA last name from a favourite cousin of my Father, Skip Calhoun. It’s my middle name. Our family often used the middle name as we were never expected to match the person whose first name we were given. That happens to be Gordon.

That is actually interesting Cal; but I was only teasing...as you well know.
With Gordon as a first name I was clearly wrong as you could only have Scottish genes.🏴

Seems to me like you'd get along with Catalans nicely. 🙂
Except we drink mostly wine and brandy ( well, I don't count much anymore... being in the US too long, so I appreciate good bourbon ).

Odd thoughts pop into my head at odd times, like when they're having a fight in star wars in their spaceships, what happens to the lasers that miss? Do they just continue off into space untill they hit something? Are they focused to that they diffuse after a certain distance? Where's health and safety ? Are we in danger of Earth being hit by one?

Nerd alert! 🤓
Their energy is dissipated by the interstellar medium.
Trapping the laser beam within her crystal ball is more likely! 😀

But, aren't the Romulans in Star Trek which takes place in a different galaxy from cracked case's Star Wars?
Different physics applies no doubt! 🤓

I came second in a stargazing competition.
The winner got a telescope.
I had to make do with a constellation prize.

Airbus A319, row 12 or 13, ahead of the engines, FWIW. On one of the shortest legs of this recent trip (Montreal to Toronto), we were on a B737-8 (it seems they’ve dropped the “Max” designation?) - very nice improvement on the interior, and I think it might have been a bit quieter, but as it was approx only a 45min or so hop, it didn’t even break out my tablet for the measurement. Too bad Air Canada isn’t using that model on the Victoria - Montreal or Toronto to Bermuda flights. What type of airplane?
I guess there’s only many “O”s to be found - like some long term marriages? And learning to spell? Ha ha ha.
