Interesting. Thanks Cal for making sure we all didn't take that literally 😀
Actually Thanksgiving is celebrated in the Australian territory of Norfolk Island, where American fishermen would visit many years ago.

Following the same trend, should I think Thanksgiving will also become popular in Iraq???

There is an old story about a general who went on an inspection tour of the front during World War I, and, putting his head incautiously up out of a trench, was narrowly missed by a sniper's bullet.
He turned to a nearby sergeant and bellowed: "Get that sniper!"
"Oh, we've got him spotted, sir," the sergeant said. "He's been there for six days now."
"Well, then," the general said, "why don't you blast him out of there?"
"Well, sir, it's this way," the sergeant explained. "He's fired about sixty rounds since he's been out there, and he hasn't hit anything yet. We're afraid if we get rid of him they'll put up somebody who can shoot."

Just last week I watched "MIF/Myth" an Ukrainian Movie, actually a documentary, about a world famous Opera Singer, who volunteered in the Army, and also "put his head incautiously up out of a trench" .... but sadly he was killed on the spot.
A very sad story.

Using that exact same picture, I´d make a joke about planes flying real low and baby vultures, but Cal will get angry 🙁Unless you are expecting a meal.
There are a couple of international retailers that have decided to spring something they call 'Black Friday' on us. Funny thing is, black Friday here means simply any Friday the 13th... certainly not a day to be choosing to do anything rash. They invented a shopping weekend
Oh man, my 18 year old Dodge van won't even go Warp 1.Seen today. To infinity and beyond.
Guess it's time for something new.

And now it's followed by "Small Business Saturday" and then a day later, "Cyber Monday", at least in the US.'Black Friday'
Sunday is still plain old Sunday, but probably not for long.
Because its filter papers are folded into four identical 90-degree quadrants, the Chemex glass coffee funnel must be manufactured with a certain unique and specific angle that I will call THETA. Using teen-age school maths (Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus I, whatever you like), solve for THETA.
