Something to lighten the mood

China has 4 qualities of product, please do not report this as political!
A grade, North America and Europe etc.
B Grade, Persian Gulf, South America etc.
C Grade, Africa etc.
D Grade is plant defective / over production / warehouse clearance grade...is purchased at scrap value, and often winds up in India.

The thermos in stainless steel we get here are not seamless tubes. but rolled tubes, and the joint opens up. And it may be cheaper 200 series stainless.
Price? 49 Rupees, then about 1 US for a 350 ml. flask, even the lid was recycled plastic.
Point is, because of high price and a limited market, few sellers will actually make or trade in this item.

Eagle brand, best quality, is good, their smallest ones are too big for me.
Eagle 0.5 liter flask is about 950 Rupees, which is a multiple of the Chinese price, though it is quite likely that Eagle has imported it, or some parts from China, but they stand by their product.
Convincing our people to pay four times more is difficult, to put it mildly.

Always got a kick outta Steve Deckert’s Jensen Imperial Horn blurb from circa early 2000’s(?), but I think there might have been some photoshop manipulation involved in the opening black & white photo.

i don’t think that was his then (still?) wife Devon.

Bill,

Thank-you for sharing with us and keeping in mind the possible lifetime of these internet posts, your children, grandchildren and possibly your great grandchildren.
Very much doubt anybody in the Future cares about DIY Audio, a dying Hobby even today.
And for a long time now.

Doubt "DIY horse wagon Forum", "DIY Viking Ship Drakens" , "Build your own Pyramid" and similar have many members today 🙁
