Something to lighten the mood

Picked up a bottle of this one - MADE IN CANADA - the other day ...:worship:

Rye has a different flavor. Lighter. Dryer.

I prefer bourbon over rye myself.

We have some of them Big Ice Cube molds in the fridge. Get a nice glass, one of them 2 inch cubes or 3 inch sphere and pour three shots of a good bourbon, light up a cigar and contemplate how to solve the issues of the world and understand why negative 2nd order harmonic distortion under 1% at 1Khz sounds good.

This is how I drink bourbon and the occasional rye. For scotch whiskey we have different glassware.

Hey Jahuzi.
Show me your lake. Is it big enough to be caught by name?
Show me yours and I'll show you mine.
Part of the (Lake) Konnevesi is a National park. My cottage is on a big island in the NW corner in the park. My grandfather built the first cabin in 1938, we have a 5km boat ride to the island. Marked routes go to other lakes via canals/ports.

Holy Gazoola Batman. What a series of pockets, islands, inlets and bays.
My lake can be circumcised in about 1 hour at cruising speed. (30 kms) 3 hours if you do it more slowly and get a little nosy with the neighbours. (total of 40 kms)

How could a person could ever hope to see your complete waterway in one lifetime unless you did it for a living? That is spectacular. Thank you for showing.
My mood is definitely heading in the right direction.
Cheers.

Sometimes, you just don't have the time.... get in, go a bit, pop a beer....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irvine_Lake

I mean, it's not like in Denver

But, when it comes to Big Lakes -yeah, I know you guys in BC sort of share the same lake when your bay clears of icebergs and you can make it past Orcas Island.... 😳 😉

No, we are NOT allowed on Newport.... we make do with the Mighty Irvine Lake.

When it gets rain...

Now... get back to being your cranky self. You're more fun that way.

Lake Konnevesi is like most lakes in central-eastern Finland, filled with rocks and islands. Max depth is 60m, but rght next to it might be rocks - no sand or mud banks. Water level is not regulated, it varies max 60cm. I've been driving motor boats for 50+ years there, but find new rocks every year... Paper map and marine-GPS maps help, but at 20-30 knots you must know the off-route rocks.

Fishing I do is small nets - perch and other small fish. Trollers catch mainly pikes and large perch. Trout is rare and protected.

Sweden and Russia have similar lakes, and Canada and USA too in some regions.
