Actually Tom Rapp (a guy I like) from Pearls Before Swine sounded much like that on occasions - the same lisping and sleepy voiceTry this one on.
Well, at least BD has been great inspiration to imitators and comedians, worldwide!

Gotta imagine the boys would laff their a$$es off at this
Retirement and You Tube are a very dangerous combination, Mr Dubya; and if you “like” and don’t scrub your watch history daily, the algorithm can serve up some strange fruit.
It seems the explicit profanity and near nudity filters have been relaxed somewhat lately, so some that are definitely NSFW or this forum - if you know what I mean😉

Well, that's plain weird! You have to wonder why anyone bothered to make it!
(mind you, that applies to probably 90% of YT!)

The thing is, Dylan is singing about his experiences in America during his youth, which is something I do not relate to...
My kids were singing and dancing to some rap song which had a line 'busting a cap in a ho', or something similar about ten years back.
I scolded them, they said nice beat...and explaining to a twelve year old that the line was about shooting a young girl, for whatever reason...that was difficult.
For those not clued in, busting a cap = firing a cartridge from a firearm, and ho = young lady below about 25 years age.
And many rap artists have grown up as single parent children in what are really slums, crime and drugs are something which is common for them...not in India.
Their music is about their life experiences, and for someone in India, not easy to understand, or relate to.
Earlier also, I did say that 'The Goon Show' also used some terms and language which required the listener or reader to know what it was all about...Cockney pre 1939 London, far different from today's atmosphere.
I grew up listening to Hindi film music, Voice of America, and we had relatives from London bring in video recordings of the 'Top of the Pops' programs (BBC) in the 1980s.
That set my tastes to those, and after reading about rap music, the performers' backgrounds, and sometimes violent career endings, I opted not to follow that type of music.
My gain or loss is my decision, and I must bear the consequences of that .

We had a good library in my school, most of James Thurber, Stephen Leacock, P.G.Wodehouse, Kingsley Amis, Hank Ketcham and others in the 808.8 and 817.5 sections were well represented.
The time James Thurber set the microscope in the biology class to reflect his eye was funny, and there was a 'student report' in Stephen Leacock about 'Willy Shagsper" (many spellings, none correct), which I remember...
Sadly, no Ogden Nash, not even in the American Center libraries in Delhi and Mumbai.

Oh, are also deep down in that rabbit hole and cannot stop laughing ...Whatever you do, don’t Google Scared Ketchup. 😵

Pop a Cap in Yo' ***; Ben Watt? I quite like that. Hardly a cartridge though - refers to an air pistol held by a kid...
"When I hold you in my arms (ooh, oh, yeah)
And I feel my finger on your trigger (ooh, oh, yeah)
I know nobody can do me no harm (ooh, oh, yeah)
Because
Happiness is a warm gun, yes it is (bang, bang, shoot, shoot)"
~Beatles, 1968.

I believe that was about injecting heroin, not shooting a pistol."When I hold you in my arms (ooh, oh, yeah)

Still not a jolly subject, but suicide is not as bad as murder.
PS IMO, rap is not music☺️

“Gun” also refers to a certain organ between a man’s legs, which will also go bang and shoot.
According to Wikipedia, you are correct, the song refers to sex.“Gun” also refers to a certain organ between a man’s legs, which will also go bang and shoot.
Think, McFly, think. It’s the BEATLES. What else would they have been thinking about?
